چکیده
The risk of rupture of LV pseudaneurysm is still not well understood, and ischemic cardiomyopathy with heart failure is a common consequence. Simple investigations like chest X-ray can give clue to such a serious diagnosis.

Post-catheterization giant pseudoaneurysm of the femoral artery: an delayed clinical presentation
Post-catheterization pseudoaneurysm is most common vascular complications of cardiac and peripheral angiographic procedures. We report a 67-year-old female patient with giant (25 cmx25 cm) femoral artery pseudoaneurysm which gradually enlarged without rupture developed after catheterization in the periods of three years. She electively underwent to operation. Pseudoaneurysm pouch was evacuated ...

BMJ Case Rep Published online: [please include Day Month Year] doi:10.1136/bcr-2013200270 DESCRIPTION Left ventricular (LV) pseudoaneurysm is a rare but potentially lethal late mechanical complication of acute myocardial infarction (MI). We present a case of 50-year-old man who presented with acute inferior wall MI. He was treated with thrombolyti...
متن کاملAn apical left ventricular aneurysm rupture presenting as left breast mass 11 years after surgical repair.
Left ventricular (LV) pseudoaneurysm is a rare entity and, consequently, there is limited knowledge of the condition's natural history. The most frequent mode of presentation for LV pseudoaneurysm is heart failure with chest pain. However, the variable presentation of this condition requires a high index of suspicion for diagnosis. We report the case of a 75-year-old woman who had suffered an a...
متن کاملA Giant Unruptured Left Ventricular Pseudoaneurysm Followed by a Silent Myocardial Infarction
Left ventricular pseudoaneurysm is a rare and potentially fatal complication of myocardial infarction. We report a case of a unruptured giant left ventricular pseudoaneurysm in a 72-year-old woman possibly after a silent myocardial infarction. The patient admitted to our clinic for progressive dyspnea and anginal pain for 7 years. Echocardiography showed a giant (7x11 cm sized) pseudoaneurysm w...
